What Crest is

Crest is the administrative system a soccer club uses to keep its directory, seasons, teams, rosters, consents and communications. It is operated by Nipomo Soccer Club and made available to member clubs and their families.

Accounts

Accounts belong to people, not to households or email addresses. You get an account because a club registered you; you cannot create one by signing in. An account under 13 is provisioned by a guardian. Keep your sign-in to yourself, and tell your club if you think someone else has used it.

What you agree not to do

Content you post

What you post stays yours. By posting it you allow the club to show it inside Crest, and, where the relevant consents allow, on the club's public pages and social accounts. Club-authored posts do not use players' names.

Sharing outward

Crest never holds your social media credentials. Sharing a post to your own accounts uses your device's own share sheet, which means you are the one posting it, under that network's terms rather than these.

Suspension

A club may suspend or remove access for a breach of these terms or of its own code of conduct. Where the breach concerns the safety of a child, access may be removed first and discussed afterwards.

Availability

Crest is provided as it is. Reasonable care is taken to keep it running and to keep records safe, but no uptime is promised and it should not be the only place a club keeps a record it cannot lose.

Fees

Where a club charges for registration through Crest, the amounts, the processing fee and the refund rules are the club's, shown at checkout before payment. Crest does not store card numbers.
